The Origin of
The Salt Lick

The Salt Lick was created in a wet basement in Capitol Hill in the summer of 2020 by Jason Edelstein and Andrea Hoang. Originally the host of the live-session concert series, Songs From The Pond, The Salt Lick was founded as an outlet for the amplification of Denver's eclectic music-scene.

Eventually the reality of centering a business on an industry that had been sucked dry by live entertainement & streaming corporations caught up with us, and Edelstein refocused the business on supporting Colorado-based small businesses in spaces dominated by national franchises.

Our approach to filmmaking is rooted in art and driven by strategy.

Our DIY background has helped us keep production costs & focus on our end goal. We've produced award-winning music videos on small budgets, and that same approach helps us ideate the most impactful use of our clients' budgets to generate the results that will scale their business.
